In a self-catering house, breakfast, cleaning, transfers and planning are your job. In a serviced villa they are the property\u2019s: breakfast comes to the villa, housekeeping happens while you are out, a concierge arranges boats and walks, and there is a restaurant on site. The difference is the hours of \u201cwork\u201d inside your holiday.<\/p>\n
How does breakfast work in a villa?<\/h3>\n
At Kassandra Heritage, breakfast is served between 09:00 and 11:30, in your villa\u2019s courtyard if you wish, prepared with produce from the region\u2019s local growers. There is no buffet window and no queue for a table; the table is laid to your clock.<\/p>\n
Is a private pool really private?<\/h3>\n
In a well-designed villa, yes: the pool is shielded from neighbouring sightlines by courtyard walls and planting. The right question to ask before booking anywhere is: \u201cCan the pool be seen from another villa or from the road?\u201d In our seven villas the answer is no; each pool sits in its own courtyard.<\/p>\n
Does a villa holiday make sense in autumn or winter?<\/h3>\n
With the right equipment, yes: all our villas have underfloor heating, and the pools at Calla, Adonis and Daphne are heated in the cooler months. October and November pair a warm pool with a cool, quiet village \u2014 some of the most peaceful weeks of the year. Our season runs April to November.<\/p>\n
Doesn\u2019t cooking make a villa holiday hard work?<\/h3>\n
It does not have to: a full kitchen gives freedom to those who want it, and K\u00c1RMI (13:00\u201322:00) plus breakfast at the villa covers those who do not. Most guests mix the two \u2014 mornings at the villa, evenings at the restaurant.<\/p>\n
Can I bring my pet on a villa holiday?<\/h3>\n
